The Venue
Standing on the banks of the River Don at Alma Street, Sheffield, Kelham Island Museum is one of the city’s most iconic landmarks. Originally built to house the machinery of Sheffield’s steel industry, it now provides a breathtaking backdrop for weddings that want drama, history and heart.
The museum’s extraordinary spaces – vast, industrial and steeped in character – transform beautifully for weddings. High ceilings, exposed steelwork, natural light and the unmistakable spirit of Sheffield’s proud past create an atmosphere unlike any other venue in the city.
As part of The Real Kelham Events family, your wedding day comes with full coordination support, in house catering, and the option to use adjoining venues including Joni Kelham Island and The Millowners Arms.
